Elizabeth Lazdins has more than 15 years of customer service experience. In her role as Office Manager, she provides the multi-faceted office support by streamlining workflow and enhancing staff capability. She is passionate about finding ways to improve service and assisting customers in achieving their goals.
Her previous professional experience includes several roles at the Rockford Public Library, most recently as the Senior Library Clerk. In this role, she assisted not only her department but also served on several committees. These committees developed strategies and programs that benefited the public and staff, through training, education and entertainment. She created the Emergency Preparedness Committee, which was dedicated to preparing the staff for a variety of emergencies through training and drills. She also developed a community preparedness day that included meteorologists, storm chasers, emergency services and other organizations to educate the public on disaster preparedness.
Lazdins graduated from the Beloit College in 2001 with a B.A. in Anthropology. She volunteers with local theater groups, working behind the scenes in the box office and as a stage manager.
