Rosen joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates in 1990 and has served as the practice’s president for many years. Rosen was an early champion of converting to electronic health records. He is keeping his medical license but said he won’t miss being on call and waking up to phone calls in the middle of the night. He will be remaining in Rockford with his wife, and he looks forward to traveling more and spending time with his family.
The Rockford Park District announced that it has partnered with Rockford Bank & Trust for a 10-year naming rights partnership for its new indoor facility: the Rockford Bank & Trust Pavilion at Aldeen Golf Club driven by Giovanni's. The facility is expected to be open in the summer of 2018.
Carz R’ Us hosted its annual Art Show during the month of June, showcasing artwork created by students from elementary schools in the Harlem School District. More than thirty student art pieces were on display during the month. Students, parents and community members were invited to view the display during regular business hours and vote on their favorite.

The firm established the scholarships in 2015 in collaboration with the Crusader Community Health Foundation as part of their celebration in reaching a $1 billion milestone in helping clients achieve direct grant funding. With more than 1,200 concert tickets sold, First Free Rockford presented a check to the Rockford Public School District in the amount of $11,908 on Sunday, March 12. Proceeds from the annual reSTART concert event will benefit families in need within the RPS 205 District.
